Attached are our packages for January 2012 – December 2012, kindly note that we encourage questions and suggestions from your side, as this will be one of the most important days in your life. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any additional information.

Morning Weddings from 8h00 – 13h00 (5 hours)
Evening Weddings from 16h00 – 24h00 (8 hours)
Our bar closes strictly at 23h30, for evening weddings.

Extensions may be made with the necessary prior arrangements. A fee of 
R1 500.00 p/hour will be charged for Oak House venue to stay open after 24h00.
A fee of R1 000.00 p/hour will be charged for Oak House bar to stay open after 23h30. 

Oak House has 2 available venues for your wedding. Our Banquet Hall can accommodate up 230 guests and still allows for a spacious dance floor. 

Our smaller venue is a very cosy room which can accommodate 10-50 guests with ease. Both these halls has their own unique bar with full bar facilities and liquor licenses.

Oak House has 2 venues available :

1. Banquet Hall - 80 to 200 Guests
2. Oak House Smaller Venue - 10 to 50 Guests

Items and services included in the Venue Hire :

 
  Venue hire from 16h00 – 24h00 on your wedding day.
The hiring of any one of our two wedding halls for your wedding automatically includes the exclusive use of the entire venue, its bar facilities and our guest house, for your guest’s accommodation.
  Coordinating service from 16h00 – 24h00 on your wedding day.
Our experienced senior management and our waiters will be present for the duration of your wedding, to attend to any of your needs.
Our waiters and barman are present for a minimum of 8 hours for evening weddings and minimum of 6 hours for morning weddings.

  Our standard white linen serviettes, the folding and placing of the 
serviettes according to your specification.
  Basic Table setting service, we will place your name cards, menu

We will not accommodate any other guests at Oak House on the day of your wedding, we assure you the exclusive use of Oak House guesthouse, venue and bar at all times.

Oak House offers free wedding consultations to every bridal couple before the wedding to discuss all the fine details of the function, once a wedding date has been booked at Oak House
.

Oak House will include the Honeymoon suite for the bridal couple for FREE for the night of the wedding !

Items included in the chapel hire :

  Confetti bowl and stand
 
Register table, and chairs for the bride and groom
  Old bell in bell tower
 
If you will need extra chairs, we will provide them, and also arrange the transportation.

A choice of either the Anglican or Presbyterian Church at a rate of R1 300.00.
This charge is paid directly into the church’s account to secure the booking of your wedding date.

Starter :
Seafood cocktail, drizzled with lemon, served on a bed of fresh lettuce & a side salad

Main:
Traditional Beef stew, served with potato & carrot, Oven roasted chicken, coated with white wine, served with bacon bits and croutons, steamed white rice, Roasted baby potatoes in parsley and garlic butter, Baked butternut with cinnamon, Creamed spinach with feta cheese and Cauliflower and cheese sauce

Salad :
Mixed garden salad, Baby marrow and feta salad

Dessert :
Trifle with custard, ice cream with home made chocolate sauce.

Coffee and tea station for the duration of your wedding.

Pre drink
Non Alcoholic fruit punch & Mint flavoured water.

Starter :
Crumbed fish croquettes served with a creamy tartar sauce.

Main:
Ham & cheese beefroll with mushroom sauce, Honey glazed chicken served with chutney sauce, Yellow savoury rice, Diamond roasted potatoes with mustard, Sweet potatoes with coconut, Green beans with onion and potato, Glazed Baby carrots and peas.

Salad :
Mixed Garden salad, Waldorf salad with mixed nuts and celery.

Dessert :
Ice cream with home made chocolate sauce, baked Jan Ellis pudding with custard.

Coffee and tea station for the duration of your wedding.

Pre drink
Old Brown Sherry & Non alcoholic fruit punch.

Starter :
Brandied Chicken liver pate on melba rounds, served with a side salad, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Main:
Roasted leg of lamb with fresh rosemary & sun dried tomatoes, Chicken casserole with broccoli and creamy cheese sauce, Yellow savoury rice, Roasted baby potatoes in parsley and garlic butter, Sweet potato with banana, coconut and ginger baked crust, mixed vegetables tossed in olive oil and lightly seasoned, Glazed baby carrots, French green beans with bacon bits and creamy mushroom sauce.

Salad :
Mixed Garden salad, Baby marrow and feta salad.

Dessert :
Trifle, Mixed fruit and yoghurt ring, ice cream and home made chocolate sauce.

Coffee & tea station for the duration of you wedding.

Children under 2 years will not be charged.
Children between 5 – 8 years will be charged half price.

Coffee & Tea station will be serviced for the duration of the wedding for your guests.

All our menus are Buffet, please ask for our plated menu options and prices.

Please note, if you would like to change anything on the menu, please let us know and you are more than welcome to discuss your preferences with our chef.

You are also more than welcome to make up your own menu, please ask us for a list of dishes to choose from.

Waiters will be on duty from an hour before your wedding starts until half an hour after your wedding.

We have an in house photographer and Décor designer for your convenience; please schedule a personalized meeting with either one. Please ask Carien Davel for additional information.

Oak House can arrange a jumping castle for the children
Breakfast Buffet for the morning after the wedding, for friends and family can be arranged.
A minimum of 6 guests for breakfast is required.
We have 3, including the honeymoon suite, lovely double en-suite rooms available for you and your guests.
Cullinan Backpackers will provide your guests with stylish, affordable accommodation.

By paying a non-refundable deposit which is that of the Venue hire and signage of the terms and conditions you will secure you’re booking at Oak House. 
A refundable breakage deposit will be charged to your final invoice for any breakages that may occur and will be refunded no later than 30 days after the wedding.

The total amount due must be settled 14 days prior to the wedding date.

Your deposit is non-refundable, and a full cancellation fee will be charged according to the date you booked.

All prices are exclusive of VAT.
